Kanye

I know a lot of people hate him, but I have to say I've always really loved Kanye West. Even after that whole Taylor Swift debacle, I always found him endearing and interesting in a twisted kind of way (maybe I relate to him because I'm prone to being a jerky-verbal-diarrhea-idiot sometimes too). I really do think there's a lot more to him than the egotistical asshole a lot of people take him for, and I'm glad The Sartorialist seems to be on the same page as me. Scott Schuman has consistently derived inspiration from Kanye as an artist, and I'm loving this new shot he just posted:

Stripped down and colourless, it's really just such a striking portrait. I can totally understand how he might not endear himself to a lot of people, but whether or not you like him, I think most people will agree that there's definitely a certain level of honesty and ingenuity in the way he presents himself and creates art.
