Grey Gardens

With non-stop rain all day, I finally came to the full realization that summer is indeed over. Instead of sulking about it, I thought I'd celebrate the actual need now for cold-weather wear by revamping one of my favourite summer outfits: the belted scarf look! This scarf is made out of pretty heavy-duty material, so layered under a leather jacket and worn with a hat, it's basically a sweater substitute.







I friggiiiiin' love my new hat...I found it in the men's section of H&M and immediately started obsessing over it (probably because it's a bit Françoise Hardy-esque, and anything I could see on her, I need for myself). Since the friend I was with is the nicest person in the world, she got it for me as a thank-you gift for shopping with her. Not a bad trade-off at all! Love you long time N.
